Jo is an experienced headteacher, National Leader in Education and Ofsted Inspector. She is committed to collaborative working and developing joint practice development across schools to strengthen leadership. Jo was appointed as CEO of YCAT in 2020.
Former CEO of YCAT and headteacher, Don led the creation of HART Teaching School Alliance and as a National Leader for Education has supported many schools across North Yorkshire, remaining committed to evidence based practice and collaborative partnership working.
Sarah has over 25 years’ experience working in education finance, is a qualified accounting technician and has gained the certificate and diploma in school business management. Sarah has been CFO at YCAT since 2020.
Suzanne joined YCAT as Financial Administrator in 2022 to support the CFO in delivering financial information for the Trust. Previously she has worked in the private business sector as a Financial Controller and Accounting and Office Manager.
Vivian joined the finance team at YCAT in January 2024 after working in North Yorkshire Council. Prior to relocating to the UK in 2022, Vivian worked in the Immigration Department for the Hong Kong Government.
Kerry has worked in educational administration and management since 2012 in four different MATs. Her previous roles have included working as a Teaching School Manager and Manager of a Teaching School Hub. Kerry joined YCAT in November 2023.
Ian is a qualified Architect and, for the last 35 years has worked as partner in a local architectural practice. He has a long history of supporting YCAT in his role as Trustee, and joined the central team as Estates Manager in December 2023.
Tracey supports governance at all levels, including procedures, compliance and alignment of roles and responsibilities. She also supports the work of the clerks for our local governing bodies.
